Corporate Culture of BYC

The BYC team has great ambitions to participate in the construction of a new Ukraine, a new Ukrainian creative civilised society aimed at integration into and leadership in Western society.

We respect people and treat them with respect from the outset. We demand high standards of communication in the workplace. Everyone in our team must meet our standards and receive appropriate training as part of their job.

We require our employees to communicate equally in their work. This applies to both management and employees at all levels.

We reach compromises through emotional and energy consuming discussions and meetings. The purpose of such discussions is to reach the most correct and well-reasoned decision. Each employee must be aware of this, participate as much as possible in meetings at his or her level, be effective in his or her responsibilities and be stress resistant.

In the course of our work we communicate with representatives of Ukrainian and foreign authorities, diplomatic missions and owners of large Ukrainian and foreign companies. 

Every employee should be aware of the fact that in the course of his work he will have to correspond with them, communicate personally, etc. Employees of any level should be aware of this and not be afraid of communication at any level (from a supermarket manager and a volunteer of a public organisation to the mayor of a large city and Elon Musk).

Our team has zero tolerance for corruption. Each of our employees must be aware that they have no right to use communication with our partners for their own corrupt benefit (extortion of bribes, etc.).

We see our employees as our social capital. We invest our own efforts and resources in their development. One of our strategic HR goals is to provide our employees with career development opportunities both in our company and in partner companies, structures and institutions (both Ukrainian and foreign). Therefore, we consider it unacceptable for our employees to transfer to work for our partners without prior approval or to conduct uncoordinated negotiations with the possibility of obtaining their own benefits.

We are building the BYC brand as a company that contributes to easier and faster economic and social development of Ukraine. Therefore, we require our employees to maintain our high standards, help develop our brand and prevent it from being devalued or destroyed.
